St Nicholas

St Nicholas, Nunhide Lane, Sulham Hill, Sulham, Berkshire RG8 8EE

1.5 miles south east of Pangbourne

Family worship is held on the third Sunday of each month at 11am

St Nicholas was rebuilt in the 1830s. It is a pretty church located on the edge of the village.

One of our three parish churches, St Nicholas is a place to find peace and solace in the building or on the bench in the churchyard. Volunteers clean, maintain the churchyard and provide flowers to decorate the church. The church is much loved by locals and visitors alike and fundraising continues towards the costs of repairs to the fine Victorian stained glass windows and stonework.

Key events are celebrated and special services are held in the Church throughout the year.

The church is open on Crocus Sunday (February/March) each year for visitors to come and enjoy the crocus/snowdrop display in the churchyard; the annual Church Fete held bi-annually in Sulham is always very well supported.
